When Governor George Wallace was the nominee of the American Independent Party — a forerunner of the Constitution Party — his slogan was “It Takes Courage: Stand Up for America.”  It took courage then, and perhaps more so today, to be a Constitutionalist.Powerful and moneyed elites run Republican and Democratic parties. As a supporter of the Constitution Party, you are standing up against the establishment — offering principled, practical, and inspiring alternatives to politics-as-usual. I like to put it this way: ours is the only political party that lives up to its name.

The Constitution Party has been blessed in the past year or so with a dramatic upswing of visits to our Facebook page, more readers of party newsletter than ever before, and by a number of Constitutionalists who are already putting their name up as candidates.

That’s due to your financial investments, as well as a few key friends who have been giving on a regular basis, either monthly or quarterly. That’s why I’m writing to you.  

I had the privilege of working with Howard right from the start. I believe his vision of building an alternative party based on the Founding Father’s timeless principles is crucial to public policy.  The Howard Phillips Legacy Society honors his courage and leadership. Regular gifts are the lifeblood of our victory fund — as a “business,” our party needs to count on a certain amount of fixed income.
