J.R. obtained enough signatures to appear on the Alaska general election ballot this year as the Alaska Constitution Party (ACP) nominee for Alaska House District 30, representing the cities and vicinity around Kenai and Soldotna on the Kenai Peninsula. He regularly appears on local radio talk shows to promote his campaign and the Constitution Party, and was instrumental in placing the Castle/Bradley ticket on the Alaska ballot for 2016.
He is the founder and now in his third term as Chairman of the ACP, as well as serving as the ACP nominee for Alaska Governor in 2014.
J.R. holds both a Master of Human Services & a Master of Professional Counseling degrees. He is also a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Master of Addictions Counselor.
He has also served as President of the Alaska Counseling Association, and works as a Behavioral Health Consultant.
