Response to MIAC Report

The Constitution Party has issued a Travel Advisory for the state of Missouri in light of the recent secret police report which profiles politically informed Americans as "domestic terrorists". Travel to Missiouri is discouraged .

In response to the MIAC report which smeared law abiding Americans along with former presidential candidates Congressman Ron Paul, the Constitution Party’s Chuck Baldwin and the Libertarian Party’s Bob Barr, the three candidates wrote a letter to Mo. governor Jay Nixon demanding retraction of slanderous and inaccurate characterizations. Read the letter HERE.

The state issued an "apology" to the three men but made no mention of clearing up the myriad other inaccuracies found in the report. Read the apology HERE.

Please write to Governor Nixon and tell him you would like all MIAC report references which cast Constitutionally- sound political dissention in a negative light removed at once.

Tell him to clear your name!

Mention that while you appreciate the state addressing the slandering of Paul, Baldwin and Barr, that you, too have been slandered and demand these misrepresentations be cleared up.

Write to:

Governor J. Nixon
P.O. Box 749
Jefferson, MO 65102

Tel: 573- 751-4905

Fax: 573-751-5399

Sample letter:

Dear Governor Nixon,

Thank you for clearing up the slanderous characterizations in the MIAC report which smeared the names of honorable men like Congressman Ron Paul, Pastor Chuck Baldwin and Bob Barr.

Now it’s time to clear my name as well.

As a law abiding citizen who holds that the Constitution is the supreme law of the land, I respect the provisions of that document which include:

The sanctity of life, the 10th Amendment’s guarantee of state sovereignty, the importance of stopping illegal immigration and the dangers of unchecked and unconstitutional encroachments by the federal government that our Founders warned us about.

Therefore, I respectfully request that you jettison this report and spend precious resources fighting real terrorists, not upstanding Americans.

Sincerely,
