The Daily Sentinel: Pond said he officially accepted the party’s nomination on Monday. Pond will now be on the November’s general election ballot with Republican Mark Baisley and the Democratic nominee, between incumbent U.S. Sen John Hickenlooper or State Senator Julie Gonzales to be decided in the June 30 primary election.

Southern Utah News: Nationally, the race for Utah’s 3rd Congressional District seat, held by Rep. Celeste Maloy, includes four Republican candidates, all expected to qualify for the primary. Democrats Steve Merrill and Kent Udell are also expected on the ballot, along with Constitution Party candidate Cassie Easley and Libertarian Michael Stoddard.
