Christians and the Constitution Party

Christians and the Constitution Party
~ 19 February 2014 ~
by Frank Fluckiger, National Chairman
Frank 1 The Constitution Party is often accused of being a “a religious party.” However, our platform makes a clear definition and a straightforward distinction: “This great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on a foundation of Christian principles and values. For this very reason peoples of all faiths have been and are afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here. The goal of the Constitution Party is to restore American jurisprudence to its Biblical foundations and to limit the federal government to its Constitutional boundaries.”

The Constitution Party welcomes all patriots who understand, appreciate, and will stand up for the Constitution in America’s culture war.

In this battle, we stand for traditional family values. Our platform proclaims: “No civil government may legitimately authorize or define marriage or family relations, as affirmed by the 10th amendment, delegating to the people as our founders understood the family as necessary to the general welfare.” No other political party takes that stand.

We are fighting for parental rights in education. Our platform is clear: “We support the unimpeded right of parents to provide for the education of their children in the manner they deem best, including home, private or religious. All legislation from any level of government that would interfere with or restrict that liberty should be opposed.” No other party makes that promise.

The Constitution Party upholds the sanctity of life on every front. Our platform maintains: “We affirm the God-given legal personhood of all human beings from fertilization to natural death, without exception.” No other party is consistently pro-life.

We are the only party that reaches out its hand to all citizens, of every faith, who are concerned with such moral issues as gay “rights,” abortion, and pornography.
We believe the major issues we face today are best solved by a renewed allegiance to the original intent of the documents, compacts, and writings of the Founding Fathers.

In short, the Constitution Party has hope for the future based on wisdom from the past.

That hope is based on the loyalty and generosity of Constitution Party supporters just like you. Your gift of $25, $50, $100 or even $15 keeps our banner held high. It’s the only one on the political battlefield of such bold and courageous colors.

Will you help us to continue to be the political leaders of the traditional values movement?

I must ask for your most generous investment today. It is election year, and the expensive work of gaining ballot access is our top priority. A donation of $50, $60, $70, or just $20 will go a long way — especially if I hear from you soon.

We take seriously admonitions from such patriots as Noah Webster who stated: “The moral principles and precepts contained in the Scriptures ought to form the basis of all our civil constitution and laws.”

If that inspires you — challenges you to action — then please be generous.
