The 2016 campaign season is heating up, and the Constitution Party National Convention will have several candidates from which to choose their nominee when in Salt Lake City (April 15th and 16th).

 

FEBRUARY 22:  Sally Baptiste, host of the American Statesman radio show, moderated an online live debate/forum between three of the candidates.  Listen here:  Constitution Party 2016 Presidential Debate.

 

FEBRUARY 27: The Constitution Party of Idaho held the first face-to-face debate between three of the candidates seeking the presidential nominee.   Candidates Copeland, Myers and Ockander will also appear on the March 8th  on the Idaho primary ballot, an historic first for the Idaho party.   The event will take took place in the Hayes Auditorium of the downtown Boise Public Library.  Listen to the audio recording of the Boise Debate here.

MARCH 8:  The Constitution Party of Tennessee hosted a phone-in debate between two of the many candidates seeking the presidential nomination on March 8, 2016 at 6:30 pm ET.   It was held in the MLEC Conference room located at 200 West Commerce Avenue in Waverly, Tennessee.  

 

MARCH 19: The U.S. Taxpayers Party (official affiliate of the national Constitution Party), hosted a presidential candidates debate which featured two additional candidates not included in the previous debates – John Diamond and Tom Hoefling.  State Representative Tom Hooker spoke on The Need for Integrity in Government.  It was moderated by a professional debate moderator and filmed by a professional camera crew.  View video recording here, or visit the U.S. Taxpayers Party website.

 

APRIL  4: This is the first of a series of debates/conversations about the situation our nation is in and what “We the People” need to be doing about it. This debate will feature two of the candidates for the Constitution Party (www.constitutionparty.com) Presidential nomination: Scott Copeland (www.scottcopelandusa.com) and Tom Hoefling (www.tomhoefling.com)

Co-hosting this debate will be Constitution Party of Texas State Chairman Daniel New and America’s Party of Texas State Chairman Andy Prior. Daniel New is also the founder of Independent Conservative Voters (www.http://independentconservativevoters.com). Andy Prior is the Texas Director for CAN-DO-USA (www.can-do-usa.com).
